Years ago, while alone and separated from friends at a discipleship conference, I was out on an open deck at this Castle Mittersill in Austria. There it was my heart’s desire to love and serve YHWH, the God of Scripture, through His Son for the rest of my life. So in a night of prayer, I poured out my heart and asked Him for His permanent presence in my life. By this invitation, to fulfill a purpose throughout the life that He wants. Not just to merely satisfy my interests. Even while I get in the way at times, I continue to trust Him for all that He wants.
If for no other reason than to know the Lord more closely, I am currently a graduate student of Theological Studies at a well-known academic institution/seminary. Being about halfway through, its rigorous coursework within a regionally accredited institution that’s expected to take about 3-years. It is my hope to be available and of use in any way suitable, even as I expect to continue blogging through my faith walk.
It is written, “delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart (Ps 37:4).” As it turns out from years of serving Him, I have come to realize that He is the desire of my heart.
