Storm Clouds
Above and below the three different states of nature are before you. The darkened storm clouds above, the Pacific Ocean in the distance, and the harsh San Gabriel mountains below.
Immersed
When exploring the upper ranges of the Sierra Nevada mountains, you sometimes are confronted with stormy weather. While at times you can become enveloped in storm clouds, there are times when there are breaks in the weather to reveal nothing short of absolute glory.
Emma
Above the desert region of the Mojave are the rolling San Gabriel mountains within the Sierra. On top of Mt Emma, a lovely mountain name, you take in the full view of occupied wilderness before you. You breathe the same air as angels.
Sentinel
A grand sentinel that soars above the Kings River in Kings Canyon National Park. The meadows, the river, the forest, and the surrounding upper reaches make for the spiritual value of the wilderness here.
Yosemite Morning
No wilderness location compares to Yosemite. Its cathedral walls, its granite faces, and its towering heights surface a spirit of renewal and inspiration within you. Yosemite is an incredible place unsurpassed in character and beauty.
Overlook
A sculpted lakes basin beneath Alta peak spreads out to invite explorers along the slopes of the Western Sierra mountains. The grandeur, the rough texture of granite, and the exquisite color and fragrance of the wilderness here attract more earnest explorers.
Morning Glow
Above the Mineral King region of the Sierra Nevada mountains are massive peaks spread out for miles. Here before you are Sawtooth and Needham mountains in the early morning hours on a route across the expansive Kaweah Canyon.
Enlightened
On the banks of the Merced River within Yosemite Valley, early morning light sometimes finds its way over the canyon walls in a way that showers all that below it. Interwoven mist and light illuminate the Merced River.
Still Waters
The clear and pure Merced river of Yosemite rises and flows beneath the commanding presence of granite domes and rock faces. In Winter or any season, the stillness of the river is elusive and yet while flowing strong, unmistakable.
